livehuddle is for teams who want to be in the room together, even when they are not. It shines when several people are in the same Space at once, walking round it as their characters, talking and working on one shared board in real time. It works just as well for one person setting up a board before the meeting, and the Space always works without signing in.
The teams it serves
A few groups feel right at home:
- Remote and hybrid teams who want a place to bump into each other. A Virtual Office or a Coworking Space gives everyone a desk to sit at, a status to show whether they are free, and a meeting table to gather round.
- Facilitators running retros, workshops and planning sessions, where everyone needs to contribute at once and see each other's input live. Workshop mode puts timers, dot votes and polls in front of whoever runs the session, and whoever holds the facilitator baton steers the session.
- Anyone hosting a crowd, from a stand-up in a Team Pod to an all-hands in an All-Hands Hall, with reactions for the applause and a quiz for the end.
Ways people use it
The same Space covers a wide range of get-togethers:
Stand-ups and drop-ins
Walk to the meeting table, say hello in a speech bubble, and see who is around.
Workshops and retros
Run a shared timer, a live dot vote or a quick poll while the group works together.
Brainstorms
Sticky notes the whole group adds at once, then groups and votes on.
Quizzes and icebreakers
A Pub Quiz, Two Truths and a Lie, or a picker spun for the next question.
Whether you sign in or not
livehuddle is friction-free on purpose. A first-time visitor can open a Space as a guest and only later create an account to sync across devices and join teams. A signed-in user can still hand a share link to a guest who walks in and joins without any account at all.
Not sure where to begin? Start with Your First Space, it walks you through opening one in a couple of minutes.
